Pastor Shawn's dad was killed when he was 7 years old. His mom was left having to raise 5 kids and work 2 to 3 jobs to make ends meet. Beginning at the age of 14, he began to drink, which led to marijuana and eventually, to crack and cocaine. He was an angry and bitter young man; lost with no future.
At age 20, he found himself crying out to God and asking Jesus Christ into his heart. His life has not been the same since! Five years later, he met and later married his wife, Julie. They have been in the ministry for over 25 years. He has been both a pastor and an international evangelist. Pastor Shawn and Julie, and their 3 children, now reside in Oklahoma City, and invite you to come to a place, "Where Jesus Christ is still changing lives!"
Before Jesus, Scott's life was a wreck. He started using drugs at the age of 12. He was a very angry person who couldn't cope with his thoughts or feelings. Alcohol led to pot, which led to acid, which led to cocaine, and ultimately, meth. This went on for years...he later joined a rock band traveling from city to city trying to outrun the pain. He then began to look for answers in witchcraft and the occult which only left him more hopeless. By 28, he was tormented and he began to contemplate suicide. Then a friend called and invited him to church. Despite being raised in Oklahoma and believing in God, Scott had never had a relationship with Jesus. So, that night he attended church services. Two months later he accepted Christ as his Savior! That very night, he flushed all his liquor and drugs and has never gone back!
God has helped him with the anger, pain, and loneliness. Today, Scott is married to his wonderful wife Sandy and God is using them to evangelize all over the world!
